Who we are

Book101 is operated by Tarak Piyushkumar Soni under the business name Book101. This notice explains how personal information is handled when you visit book101.in, sign in, make a booking, receive a ticket or request support.

Information we may handle

Depending on how you use Book101, we may handle information you provide (such as name, email address or mobile number), authentication and account information, booking and transaction-related information (event, category, quantity, order or booking references, and payment status supplied by the payment provider), communications and support requests, and technical, device, security and usage information such as device type, browser, IP address, and essential cookie or similar storage data.

Book101 does not intend to collect card numbers, UPI PINs, banking passwords or payment-provider secret credentials. Payment details entered on a hosted payment experience are handled by the payment provider under its own terms.

Purposes

Information is used to authenticate customers, process and reconcile bookings, deliver and validate digital tickets, prevent duplicate entry and fraud, provide support, communicate event changes, maintain records, secure the service and comply with applicable law.

Sharing

Data may be shared only as reasonably necessary with the event organiser, the payment provider when online payment is enabled, Google authentication where enabled, email or OTP providers, hosting, database, cache, storage, monitoring, professional advisers, and government or lawful authorities. Book101 does not sell personal data as a standalone commercial product.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies or equivalent storage may be used for login, session security, preferences needed for the service, fraud prevention and operation of book101.in. See the Cookie Notice for more detail.

Security

Book101 uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Retention

Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, dispute resolution, audits, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal or regulatory obligations. Information should be deleted, anonymised, or securely isolated when no longer required. Transaction and audit records may be retained where law or legitimate compliance needs require. Book101 does not promise immediate or unconditional deletion where those needs apply.

Your choices and requests

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of eligible account information by emailing support@book101.in. Book101 may verify the request and retain records required for payment, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, audit or legal compliance.

Children and minors

Book101 is a ticketing service for events and is not directed at children. Where a booking is made for a minor, a parent or guardian should supervise use of the account. Contact support if you believe we have information that should be reviewed.
